Tips to teach your child English Number 1

Here are our top ten tips to help you
or your child learn English.

1. Every day is best.... but it does not have to be hard all you need is a routine.

Here are three easy tips to incorporate English into your routine.

1, Breakfast:  Every morning you can turn breakfast into a 20 minute listening lesson, I recommend using CD`s or the Internet for audio only and watching videos on special occasions or weekends.

2, Transport:  Walking, bicycle, car or train every time you go out you can get in the habit of asking a couple of simple questions, for example;

What day is it today?
What month is it?
What season is it?
How`s the weather today?

Also car rides are another time you can listen to CDs or watch movies.

3, Playtime:
  •  When children are drawing or playing with toys you can put on English songs in the background.
  • If you are playing a game with counting, do the counting part in English (This works well with hide and seek or board games).
  • Make decisions using rock, scissors, paper in English.
