Speaking



Speaking is one of the harder things for children to study outside of the classroom, so here are some tips to help:

  • As I discussed in Tip 1, try to use some English at home, no matter how simple the phrases are.
  • Singing is one of the best ways to practice speaking by yourself.
  • Read books aloud, they are using two skills at the same time (reading and speaking) and you can check their progress.

10 TIPS TO TEACH YOUR CHILD ENGLISH  1,  Every day is best.... but it doesn`t have to be hard all you need is a routine. 2.   Believe in yourself; you can teach more than you think. 3,  There are four skills . 4 ,  Try to find English that relates to their interests/dreams. 5.   Reinforce and reward effort. (this should probably be number one). 6. Pronunciation is important, but it does not mean your child should only hear native English speakers . 7, Everybody learns at their own pace, don`t panic if your child is not top of the class.
